Whether as an illustrator, graphic designer, storyteller or painter, #leolionni has a knack for explaining the most complex things in the simplest way. In Little Blue and Little Yellow, he uses just a few beautiful spots of colour to tell us, without the need for words, about racism and friendship.

Books by #miroslavsasek let you travel the world from your bed, right before you go to sleep. From San Francisco to Ireland, from Hong Kong to Greece, his gaze focuses on the most particular and unique details of each city, of each culture.
No. 4. Jean De Brunhoff
Who doesn’t know Babar, the adventurous elephant? #JeandeBrunhoff created this unique and daring animal, always well dressed and ready for adventure, 90 years ago. You wouldn’t believe it! He’s younger than ever!

Millions of kids have grown up with The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The strokes and drawings in #EricCarle’s books are just waiting to be completed, turning each page into a game between author and reader. What’s more, Carle’s style, between collage and impressionism, is a true delight.

We fell in love with Les Vermeilles, by @camillejourdy. For its fantasy, its intrepid adventure, full of endearing characters and situations as comical as they are tender.

@irisdemouy‘s books are a gift for sensitive souls. In both the illustrations – which are in themselves exquisite works of art – and stories we find a purely personal, artistic and humanistic form of expression.
